making choices, choosing to worship......

ON THIS DAY: Life is about choices. Choices that we make will determine how well or how bad that day will go. As Christians, I think it is important for us to know how impotant it is to wake up and CHOOSE to live for Christ on that day. When we choose to do what is right, when we choose to do what is glorifying to God, when we choose to fight  for our familes and  friends, when we chose to tell the enemy "I am more than a conqueor In Christ" then we are saying Lord, on this day Ichose you. We have choices throughout our daily lives. If I know that I am trying to live  for God, and that drugs was one of my strongholds that they enemy had on me, then you will not find me in the midst of drug addicts and dealers. Why? Becuase I know what God has brought me from and I know how easy it is to go back. If I know that going to a party, just to see "what it is all about" and know that temptation awaits, that there will be drinking and guys who approach me me are only looking for ONE THING, knowing that God has called me to live a PURE life, and that my flesh is weak, what would be my reason for going? NONE! (unless called by God) We have to choose to want to be free, we have to chose to want stay free. We "choose things everyday, choose what we wear, we choose what we eat, we choose who we hang around, we choose what we say, we choose how we want to say it, we choose!! But..........when we choose to say LORD ON THIS DAY I CHOOSE YOU.then we are saying Lord do what you want with me, have your way in my life. Where ever you tell me to go I'll go, what ever you tell me to say i will say, what ever you tell me to do I will do. It also narrows down our options as Christians, when we Choose God first thing. When we choose Him first and foremost. When have the desire to do God's Will we leave no room for MESS. "CAN'T GO BACK, I CAN'T GO BACK...I KNOW WHAT GOD HAS BROUGHT ME FROM AND WHAT HE HAS BROUGHT ME THROUGH AND I CAN NOT GO BACK!" To me, going back is not an option. There is so much freedom in Christ, peace in Christ, happiness in Christ, joy in Christ who wouldn't want to choose that?  Actions are based on decisions, make wise ones so that your actions may not become mistakes. :)
