there is no God like you........

"O Lord, God of Israel, there is no God like you in heaven above or on earth below- you who keep your covenant of love with your servants who continue wholeheartedly in your way." -1Kings8:23

What an awesome faithful God we serve! His exsistence in my life is made known daily. From grace to favor, to love, mercy & kindness -God shows himself REAL to me every moment of each day. I know we tend to question the presence of God in our lives, especially in the darkest times. When the finances don't meet, the kids are acting out, when the sickness occurs, death, bad news etc....... God is still seated on His throne, with the answer & cure to all our problems. He can not be shaken or moved!! "As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you." -Jos.1:5. We also must remember that God's promises are for his people. According to 2Chr.15:2 ".....the Lord is with you when you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will forsake you."

The fact that God gives us the opportunity to seek him, and to know him & his ways are a privilege. So PLEASE seek him while he can be found. He longs to have a personal relationship with you. He desires to see His perfect will done in our lives, not for our pleasure, but for his glory and for his names sake BECAUSE HE IS WORTHY!! So many times we try to figure out life on our own and we end up making a huge mess of it. We acknowledge the realness of God, but we doubt if he is real in our lives. It's not the question "where is God?" The question is, "where do we place him in our own lives?" Do we search for him in the good times as well as the bad? Is he #1 in our lives? Do we put him first in ALL that we do? Have we FULLY SURRENDERED OURSELVES TO HIS INFINITE WILL? To live for Christ means that nothing else matters. If we proclaim to live for him, then we are saying 'God I give myself to you. Empty me of me so that I can be filled with you.' We no longer live to please our fleshly desires, but to live out the will of the One who sent us. In 2 Chronicles 16:9 it says, "For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him."
He gives power to the ones who seek Him wholeheartedly. There is nothing we can't do when we are drenched in his mighty power and spirit! Trust in him wholeheartedly, letting his spirit fill you with joy and peace. We can walk in the fullness of God, and in the correction of his knowledge when we seek him.
