In the Mix with 6......: a little of what I do.......

I have just been so blessed with awesome opportunities since I have come to know Christ. NO, they have not been easy to come by but it sure has been worth all the wait & struggle!

First off, I would just like to say THANK YOU LORD. Thank you for all your wonderful blessings, and your amazing promises:) I also say thank you for the trails and the struggles that I face daily, they have made me stronger and help me to fully rely on You. Thank you for your peace and joy, which gives me strength.

PERSONAL

Okay, for those of you who don't know me, allow me to introduce myself. First off, I am a Lover and a Follower of Jesus Christ. He has made all the difference in my life, and have saved me and made me His. I first came to know God at the age 14. After a few (few may be an understatement, hehe!) bumps in the road and some eras along the way, God brought me back to him in 2009 and I have been walking faithfully with since:) He is my First Love and my everything! I am also an adoring wife. My Husband and I have been together for 12 years and married 3 years. We live in a small town in Mississippi where we have 4 amazing children together. 2 girls & 2 boys.

I am very active in my church, and have a heart for the lost. I teach 3rd & 4th grade Sunday school at my church, I ma involved in the praise and worship through dance, I am a Peer Councelor at Oasis Medical Center, I volunteer as a tutor at the Lighthouse Foundation, and work part-time as a sales rep at Green Door trading Co. I am so blessed for each of the things that God has called me to do. Though each role is different, my mission in the end it the same, and that is to bring glory to my Father's name and to glorify and exemplify his Amazing Saving Grace.

FITNESS

I am also really big on fitness. I am apart and a member of Paragon Martial Arts. We do Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Kickboxing, MMA, and Fitness.We also have recently started a Children's Jiu Jitsu class that teaches self defense and self confidence! I am a 2 stripped white belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, I have hosted a Fitness Boot-camp and helped lead women to a healthier lifestyle, lose weight, and learn about getting fit. We had close to 30 ladies to participate. I am also looking into working more with the youth and women to educate them on how important health is and also a healthy diet. In February 2013 I will be studying to get my Certification in being a Personal Trainer. I am also very interested in Law Enforcement and looking into that in the near future as well. It is something I have always been interested in since I was a young girl, but just now getting to a place in my life where I feel comfortable pursuing.

MINISTRY

A group of men & women and myself also took a Missionary trip this year to Haiti. We took things like clothes, vitamins, school supplies, but most importantly we took the GOSPEL. It was a life changing experience, I saw things and done things that I could have never apart from Christ. HMM, a ministry that does a lot for our brothers and sisters in the DR and in Haiti, have done a lot. They have drilled holes underground for fresh water, build homes and schools, created jobs, and helped in the Medical as well. Our church and other churches in out community are still very active in the D.R. and Haiti. There are teams that go down each year and help.

ADONAI's Daughters Ministry

Our mission through ADONAI's Daughters is to reach out to our young girls & bring hope. This program is held together, designed, formatted and shaped by the very hands of God. We will have the opportunity to inform them that Christ desires a personal relationship with them. There is restoration and healing in Him. Sharing with them the very promises of God. We will let them know that there's more to life than a false sense of hope and security that comes along with being in a relationship from an immature ungodly mind. Let them know that with God ALL things are possible. We can overcome, we dont have to be a product of our environment, we don't have to become what some people say we must be. We can set goals and achieve them. We don't have to sale out to the "norm". We don't have to be weighed down by our bad choices, past or negative remarks that people cough up to degrade us. We can look good with clothes on, with our heads held high as we walk in the radiant beauty of God's holiness. We don't have to search the world looking for love, God will help us to understand that it's not there. We will understand that God is LOVE & there is no greater feeling than to be loved by Love himself. We are princesses clothed in his jewels, we are heirs and we are cared for because He cares. We are all his children, his prized possessions......we are Daughters of the Most HIgh God. We are ADONAI's Daughters.
